Real Estate Jacinto - TX
Jacinto Real Estate Information

Jacinto City was once a namesake of the Old West: rustic, rugged and rowdy. From the early gunslingers of Jacinto’s first few years as a township to the modern and bustling city you see today, you can be sure you’re life is full of excitement right here in extraordinary and exhilarating Jacinto City!

Located at the junction of U.S. Route 90 and the I-10 and I-610, the community of Jacinto City is located in Harris County in southern Texas. Jacinto City is part of the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area, with the heart of Houston, also known as the “Space City” or the forth-largest city in the United States, being a short 8 miles trip to the west.

Jacinto City was established in the early 1940’s when developer Frank Sharp created a small subdivision that was home to a large population of shipyard workers who worked at nearby San Jacinto River and Burnett Bay, which opens up into the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Over the decades, Jacinto City grew and prospered as an industrious city supporting steel mills, war plants, and shipping activities. Those activities continue on to this very day and supports the community’s population of approximately 12,000 people.

Sites of interest in and around Jacinto City include the famed San Jacinto State Park, the impressive San Jacinto River, Buffalo Bayou, and the family-friendly Herman Brown Park.
