Tyler, Texas is the true 'Rose of Texas'. Situated just east of Dallas, Tyler is a great place to live and work: perfect weather, great food, and tons of things to do! The world famous Tyler Rose Garden is one famous attraction, while most neighborhoods are beautifully coated with the Azalea plant. For the recreationally incline there are championship golf courses, while for the cultured ones there are antique districts, museums, historic districts, and lots of wonderful Tex-Mex food.

The city proper is about 90 miles east of Dallas along the I-20. Just a short distance from the city are several lakes and woodlands. That's right, Texas isn't just a dry desert hotbed. You can cool off in quiet parkland or travel to the zoo to catch sight of some majestic lions.

There are about 26 parks, 22 sporting lakes, 66 tennis courts, 26 baseball fields, 15 soccer fields, and 9 golf courses in the area. You couldn't even hit them all in a day if you tried! To spice things up, there are 250 restaurants and some 2000 hotel rooms available. Shop till you drop in the historic downtown district or go antique hunting for that great deal.

The annual Azalea and Spring Flower Trail is a sight to behold when in full-bloom. You won't beleive how gorgeous the city becomes!
