Cavendish is close to some major cities, being only 60 miles south of Montpellier, 50 miles northeast of Albany, New York, 60 miles west of Concord, New Hampshire, 100 miles northwest of Boston, Massachussets, and 100 miles north of Hartford, Connecticut.
