As Washington's fifth largest city, Bellevue has developed into a commercial hub within the American northwest. A relatively young city that was incorporated only in 1953, Bellevue is lcoated in King County. With a total population that was listed as 109,569 in the 2000 census, Bellevue is one of the country's fastest developing communities.

Best knownn for its scenic beauty and close proximity to Seattle, Bellevue has become one of Washington state's wealthiest cities due to its commercial activity. Home to the corporate headquarters of Expedia.com, PACCAR, drugstore.com, and T-Mobile USA, Bellevue is also conveniently located to Redmond (home of Microsoft) and the Lake Washington "Gold Coast," a district of tiny but extremely affluent towns that control the majority of the local wealth.

As the city experienced this rapid economic boom, the quality of life for Bellevue residents rapidly increased. With excellent shopping centers and museums, Bellevue is considered one of the best cities to live in all of America. A highly affluent city, it doesn't get much better than living in Bellevue.
