Washington State is one of the most characteristic states in the Union. This has a lot to do with the geography in the region. To the east you have the beautiful mountainscapes that have made this state one of the great destination for outdoor adventurers.

In amongst this beautiful landscape is the city of Kent. Not a big city like Seattle or Olympia, but a nice city nonetheless. Located a stones throw away from the mightly Green River, Kent is one of the greenest most lush places in all of the state.

Every year as rain from the mountains rushed into the area the banks of the Green River swell and dump soil from the east thus creating a fertile land where all sorts of agriculture from lettuce to hops can thrive and grow.

This feature has shaped the city of Kent immeasurably. While not the agriculture powerhouse it once was, there are still the lingering trademarks of a time where people lived off of the land. You can see barns on rolling hills and old farmhouses that have that certain Rockwell quality.

Best of all, all of these are for sale, as most of the people in the area have opted to move to the city or the suburbs. This has left a gaping hole in the real estate market that you can fill with some cunning investment.
