Situated on the serene setting of Lake Sammamish with the Seattle skyline and the Olympic Mountains to the west, and the looming grandeur of the Cascades to the east, the City of Sammamish is surrounded by spectacular natural beauty. It is located in King County, Washington, just 20 miles east of Seattle. Sammamisth was recently incorporated in 1999, and has a current population of approximately 35,000 people.

Although predominantly a bedroom commuter community of Seattle, Sammamish has a small business community located at the Pine Lake and Inglewood shopping centers and along East Lake Sammamish Parkway to meet the needs of its residents.
