I just can’t get over how impressed I am with the tiny town of Deforest Wisconsin. I have written about a lot of cities for this website and I have gone to many different city websites, and few have impressed me more than this small community of 7,000 people. Sure it may seem small, but it has a big heart.

The community seems to have a dedication to the arts and to civil commitment that few cities in the state seem to have. Even in their website they mention that the battle of Deforest during the Civil War closed off the Old South forever, and they seem to have recognized this and have embraced a more sophisticated future.

But beyond history Deforest is just a friendly place. There is Main Street that has many small independently owned shops and some absolutely amazing restaurants. You should really check them out they will ensure that you always have a nice place to go to on a Saturday night.

So take the time to do a little investigating into Deforest Wisconsin, it really is one of the best cities in the entire state, and there are a lot of nice places in the state. Good luck and happy house hunting fellow Americans. This is your time to shine.
