Green Bay was originally established as a small trading post in 1634 by French-Canadian explorer Jean Nicolet. Since that time, Green Bay has grown into the third largest city in the state of Wisconsin.

The city is best known as the home of the National Football League's Greeen Bay Packers. If there was ever a city that has ever loved a team, Green Bay is that. It is hard to avoid the powerful influence of football in the city. From all the streets named after Packer luminaries, or the houses decorated in the Packer's colours - green and gold. Lambeau Field, the home of the Packers, is as historic and magical place there is. And the Packer Hall of Fame is present.

However, there is more than just football in the city. It is home to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the National Railroad Museum, Heritage Hill State Historical Park, and the charming amusement park, Bay Beach, which is a tourist haven.

The city of Green Bay is well-known as having an invloved and tight community infrastructure. Green Bay is also proud of having one of the lowest crime rates in the United States for a municipality its size or larger. These are some of the qualities that have continually attracted many families to the city.
