Howard, Wisconsin

The lovely village of Howard is located on the northwestern side of Green Bay in Brown County, Wisconsin. Howard is bound by the City of Green Bay on the east, Hobart to the south and the Village of Suamico and Town of Pittsfield on the north. The Village is approximately 215 miles from Chicago, Illinois, 115 miles from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and 285 miles from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Since the late 1980's the Village has had an increased level in commercial and residential growth. The population grew from 9,874 in 1990 to 13,546 in 2000, to an estimated population of over 15,000 in 2004. Over the last three years, single family residential development has added over $25 million in assessed value with $28 million in construction value.

Commercial, manufacturing and personal property assessed valuations grew from about $49 million in 1990 to over $317 million in 2003. The Village Board and administration remain committed to sustained growth that can be serviced by the Village in an efficient, cost effective manner.
