Rice Lake, Wisconsin is about 2 hours from the twin cities, although with the expansion of the regional airport there are now regular commuter flights to and from Minnesota and Minneapolis, making them more accessible. What makes Rice Lake really attractive however is not the new accessibility to the Twin Cities; neither is it the growing business opportunities that are driving its economy, no it’s more to do with its location and the atmosphere it radiates as much as the rest of it.

In terms of recreation Rice Lake is second-to-none and boasts opportunities for boating, fishing and swimming on one of the many lakes, as well as golfing on the 18 hole golf course. For those who enjoy the arts it’s good to know that there are two theaters in the town. Education is also important and the facilities in Rice Lake are excellent to say the least.
