This really all depends on whether you are looking to purchase a home to live in or an investment to make some money.

After the hurricanes real estate prices in Florida became quite a bit more reasonable. If I were you I would consider buying a damaged home and fixing it up nice.

Europe. Europe is absolutely the IT of living. Try Portugal or Spain if you can't spend too much. If you can Niece, France is absolutely the best ever!
