Seek Legal Representation - Everything Real Estate

Seek Legal Representation

Whether you decide that the tips to sell your home that real estate agents give you are not worth the commissions and therefore deicide to that you know how to sell your home yourself it is still always a very good idea to be represented by an attorney.

When deciding to sell a home you should look for an attorney that has experience in selling real estate, i.e. transactions involving real estate. Once you have found the right attorney for you it is important that the attorney is present at the contract signing between you and the buyer of your home, even if you just want to sell a mobile home. Having an attorney at the signing can help to protect your interests, as the signing constitutes a legal obligation and bond.

Before signing the contract the attorney that you hire can also help you to develop the contract that you need. There is so much that needs to be done to produce a legal document, such as a contract and the attorney will be able to take that weight off your mind.

Important things that need to be addressed in the contract include simple items such as the actual sale price all the way to determining what the sale actually constitutes: does it include carpets, fixture and curtains for example.

Addressing the size of the down payment and the exact dates for the buyer to move in are all added considerations for any contract that needs to be drawn up by your attorney. Also the attorney will note down any contingencies that need to be addressed as well as the costs that the buyer and seller respectively need to pay for closing the deal.
